Misaje: Courageous Voters Perform Civic Rights

Four polling centers in Misaje Subdivision were on duty for the October 7, 2018 presidential election.

Field reports from Misaje Subdivision in Donga Mantung Division of the North West Region revealed that courageous inhabitants beat fear and filed out to exercise their voting rights in some four polling centers available for the purpose.

From the look of things, threats by some unidentified people against election in the North West region did not help matters.

But Achu Kingsly, who monitored the situation in the Subdivision told Cameroon Tribune that security was visible around some polling stations while most other stations featured inhabitants freely voting without any security protection. Misaje Subdivision’s Polling Centers were at the Misaje market building, G.S Kamine, G.S Dumbu and GHS Chunghe.
