Marlyse Ngo Ndoumbouk: Keeping The Dream Alive

AS Nancy-Lorraine forward, Marlyse Ngo Ndoumbouck, is keeping the dream alive for Cameroon in the Women Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana. The 33-year old striker won the trophy for the ‘Woman of The Match’ during Cameroon’s first match against Mali on Saturday November 17, 2018 at the Women Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana. Right from the start of the encounter Marlyse Ngo Ndoumbouck exhibited exceptional qualities that won the hearts of spectators. Ten years after leaving the national team, Marlyse Ngo Ndoumbouck has come back to join the team full of experience and determination to defend the colours of Cameroon. In spite of her age Marlyse could be seen running around the pitch with much dexterity and she has been able to prove that she is a potential player and Cameroon can count on her. The talented striker told the press that even when she was away, she continued to play and also trained hard to reach the top level. That, according to her, motivated the coach to invite her to come and play for Cameroon at the AWCOM. She said she is focused and that is why she has the quality to give to her team mates to go far in the competition. She said her dream is to win the Africa Cup of Nations trophy before retiring from international football.
