Presbyterian Church Bastos: Christians Urged to Be Transformed To Love

PC Bastos joins the rest of the Presbyterian population, in celebrating the 59th edition of their mission feast day on Sunday November 13, 2016.

The 59th  anniversary, had as theme, ‘transformed to Love” which was further strengthened with a powerful message titled “Fear God and give him glory” from Rev.14:6-7 delivered by the Presbyterial Secretary for East Mungo North who doubles as the Parish Pastor in the person of Rev. Emmanuel B. Masson . The message came as a strengthener to the Christians to make them understand the strategy they must use to overcome evil, and be firm in their walk with Christ.

The sermon was followed by the message from the moderator of the Presbyterian church in Cameroon Rt. Rev. Fonki Samuel Forba, “Christians should allow themselves to transformed to love, and learn to love their neighbours as their selves and take every person just as they are, bearing in mind that each person has his own thorns, just like porcupines, we offend those around us but at the end of the day, in spite of our thorns that inflict pain on ourselves, we need each other to survive.”
