Eradicating Boko Haram

They handed the support at the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation on July 3, 2017
Members of the Cameroonian Diaspora in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland have supported government’s efforts in and victims of the ongoing war against Boko Haram in the Far North Region of the country with the sum of FCFA 10 million. They handed the symbolic pay voucher of the money to the Minister Delegate at the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation in charge of Local Governments, Jules Doret Ndongo on July 3, 2017 in Yaounde.
While receiving the support, Minister Doret Ndongo expressed the gratitude of the Head of State, government, defence forces and victims of the war against Boko Haram to the Cameroonian Diaspora in the United Kingdom.
Speaking earlier, Cameroon’s High Commissioner to Great Britain, Nkwelle Ekaney said that in 2015, he summoned a meeting of Cameroonians residing in the country during which he briefed them on government efforts and the atrocities of the war against Boko Haram.
