SDF Group Looking For Accommodation

 The Social Democratic Front (SDF) Group office at the National Assembly was reduced to ashes by the fire out break of November 16, 2017.

The 18 members of the leading opposition party, Social Democratic Front (SDF) in the National Assembly are the hardest hit by the fire out break of November 16, 2017 night as their Group office was reduced to ashes with all materials, documents, stationery and machines consumed by the fire.

The SDF Group members have almost become wanderers in situations where they need to meet as a group to discuss issues either affecting them in the National Assembly or the party.

The Group leader, Hon. Joseph Banadzem said on the night of the fire accident that they have lost everything in his office situated in the fourth floor of the National Assembly that was completely consumed by the fire.

Talking to Cameroon Tribune through telephone on how the Group is working after the fire incident, Hon. Banadzem said, “we do not work in the National Assembly.”

He said they now do meet at the SDF National Secretariat located at the Olezoa neighbourhood in Yaounde that has accommodation provisions.

The Group leader said, he has been making some frantic efforts to in the near future secure a meeting venue at the Ngoa-Ekelle National Assembly Glass Palace.

Hon. Banadzem said he met the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Cavaye Yeguie Djibril and they discussed the possibilities and options to try  to get an accommodation for the ...
