Territorial Administration : la Francophonie Consults Minister On Elections

 This was in an audience on March 13, 2018 with the Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji, ahead of the March 25 polls.

 

Within the framework of elections observation by accredited bodies, the International Organisation of La Francophonie (OIF) in an audience with the Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji, discussed the level of preparedness of Cameroon. The delegation was led by Kadré Désiré Ouédraogo, Special Envoy of the Secretary General of La Francophonie to Cameroon. The objective of the March 13, 2018 audience was to assure Cameroon of La Francophonie's technical support and willingness to accompany Cameroon throughout the organisation of the Senatorial election billed for March 25, 2018.
Speaking to the press after the audience, Kadré Désiré Ouédraogo, said they have come to assess the situation as the country is preparing for its very important electoral process. "In the month of September 2017, I led a mission on the request of the Secretary General of La Francophonie and the purpose of this mission was to assess the situation as the country is preparing for her elections.
