The 59 year-old Ekongwese Divine Nnoko, is a graduate of the Yaounde Combined Military Services Academy (EMIA). Born in Nyan, Kupe Muanenguba Division of the South West Region, on June 26, 1958, the newly promoted Brigadier General counts over 30 years of experience spiced with training courses at home and abroad. The holder of a Bachelor Degree in Law from the University of Yaounde in 1984 also undertook military studies in Italy, the Royal Gendarmerie Academy in Morocco and in the FBI Roswell New Mexico in the United States of America.  Brigadier General Ekongwese Divine has served as Commander of many Gendarmerie territorial units including Legion Commander for North, Adamawa and East Regions from 2009 to 2014.
